    Xtreme Clutch offers a wide variety of performance and motorsport clutch kits, along with accessories such as flywheels and slave cylinders. Generally, the larger the diameter and the greater the number of plates, the higher the torque capacity. Below is an overview of the various stages available. The two or three characters after the description below (e.g. 1A or 1AX) relates to the last digits of the clutch kit part number, to help you identify the type:

    Performance Kits

    Stage 1
    Sprung Organic 1A - Ideal for use in street vehicles with minor engine modifications.

    Steel Backed Organic 1T - These give a higher burst strength for street cars that are occasionally used on track.

    Rigid Solid Organic 1G - A rigid version of the organic disc, these are ideal for street and light track use.

    Extra Heavy Duty Sprung Ceramic 1AX - An increased clamp load over regular stage 1 kits, for use in high powered vehicles.

    Stage 2

    Cushioned Ceramic 1C - Cushioned ceramic friction disc, recommended for higher horsepower street or track vehicles.

    Sprung Ceramic 1B - Sprung ceramic friction disc for a great balance between heat capacity and driveability in street and track applications.

    Extra Heavy Duty Sprung Ceramic 1R - Racing ceramic clutch with higher clamp load design for track use.

    Stage 3

    Carbon Race 1P - For high horsepower and racing applications where heat capacity is required.

    Xtreme also offers a range of motorsport specific rigid and sprung kits in 185mm, 200mm, 230mm, 250mm and even 270mm, in single, twin and triple plate configurations. We can also put together kits for custom applications.
