Autotrac were the first automotive tracking device to use both GPS and (RF) radio frequency. This means that we protect on multiple levels. Where our rivals offer GPS based systems, we have added RF (radio frequency) technology in our unit too, enabling us to locate in areas where GPS fails.
Autotrac's multi-channel technology features the standard line of defence being GPRS, GSM & GPS. Plus the RF (radio frequency) capability allows us to track in situations other cannot. e.g. should the vehicle be out of sight and hidden. This would include shipping containers, trucks & trailers, underground parking and lock-up/out buildings with GPS blocking technology.
Nationwide Theft Response Team - Securitas
In cooperation with Securitas, Autotrac is able to offer a "response service" in the event of Police being unable to attend a theft in good time. This nationwide service, enables an SIA accredited operative to visit the location to secure the stolen machine.
