  • DBA Brakes features T3 48 precision CNC machined slots which dampens the vibration harmonics or noise, with increased number of out-gassing exit points. This creates a quieter, responsive, smoother brake pedal feel and it increases the consistency and effectiveness of every brake stop. Along with a universal slot design, it eliminates the need for handed discs.

The unique Kangaroo Paw 144 diamond and tear drop cast pillar ventilation system increases surface area resulting in greater heat dissipation. This minimises brake fade, increases braking effectiveness, prolongs service life for both pads & discs which reduces mechanical damage and associated costs.

XG150 High Carbon Alloyed iron is used along with DBA's special formulation of Thermal Stability Profiling increases thermal capacity allowing the disc to handle constant extremes of heat over extended periods of time. All this minimises warping and cracking, prolonging the service life of the disc.

Thermographic Temperature Monitoring heat paint is used at specific temperature thresholds giving the driver a clear indication of peak braking temperatures. When temperatures thresholds are exceeded paint markings will permanently change colour, allowing the driver to monitor rotor fatigue and decide on rotor replacement and to assist with warranty claims.

Paint protection on non-friction areas is used to reduce corrosion and enhances appearance. This stops unsightly rust formation and adds value to the product.

The DBA53922BLKS is best suited to track use.
