Ultima GTR, Canam and Evo front clam cantilever hinge kit

MacG Racing front clam cantilever hinge kit to fit Ultima GTR, Canam and Evo models. (Patent pending).

Our cantilever hinge kit has been developed to allow the fitment of a chassis mounted splitter to the Ultima models, to allow high downforce to be achieved without the splitter stressing the clam. It has the added benefit of protecting the clam in the event of the splitter hitting an object (such as a kerb or the floor) when driving, and also allows the clam to open further to allow greater access to the front compartment for maintanence.

The included splitter is profiled to fit round the chassis, so that it sits flush with the aluminium floor when fitted correctly using the brackets supplied, which maximises downforce and smooths out underbody airflow at the front of the car. The splitter is manufactured from 12mm WBP ply, which is supplied ready to be painted, wrapped or finished as desired. The splitter protrudes roughly 80mm from the front clam, measured at the front lip of the clam.

- Carbon fibre clam support strut assembly and fixings

- Clam security quick release pins

The fitment of this kit requires modification to your clam shell, as well as welding to the chassis. It is highly recommended that the kit is fitted by a capable individual.
