ZircoFlex Gold I Foil 0.35mm Sheeting

MacG Racing are providers of Zircotec Flex Foil Ceramic Heatshield. ZircoFlex Gold is a gold backed foil that is highly reflective of infra-red radiation with results up to 98% reflectivity. Comparable to standard heatshields, it is a 64% heat reduction, and still at minimal weight and thickness. ZircoFlex Gold is easily manipulated to suit various geometries, and can even be folded tightly through 180deg without damaging the thermal barrier. Metal backed, lightweight, easily cut and installed by hand or machine, the high performance applications we provide come in various sizes and 3 thickness choices:

ZircoFlex Gold  I - 0.35mm; 0.46kg/m2

ZircoFlex Gold II - 0.60mm; 1kg/m2

ZircoFlex Gold III - 0.95mm; 1.5kg/m2

Typical applications

• Protection of engine bay components from engine and exhaust heat
• Bodywork protection, e.g. Carbon composite materials from radiant heat damage
• Reduction of heat soak through footwells, bulkheads, etc.
• Insulation of air intake systems. Reducing heat soak thereby minimising air intake temperatures for maximum engine performance
